Our Process

We offer existing turf removal, grading and subgrade preparation - as a stand alone service- or in combination with new sod installation. Sod installation is one of our specialties- and our approach has been highly refined over the years to give you a level, deeply-rooted, healthy lawn.

step 1: removal and Releveling

We begin the service by removing the existing turf. We believe that grading for proper drainage is absolutely essential to establishing a healthy lawn. It creates a solid base for success.

step 2: Subgrade preparation

We only use locally sourced top soil - to incorporate into the foundational layer of your new turf. The top soil we use has been selected to encourage adequate draining and root establishment.

step 3: sod installation

We only use locally sourced sod from our trustworthy suppliers. This sod is proven to produce optimal results in Western Washington.

INVESTMENT

REMOVAL, RELEVELING AND SUBGRADE PREPARATION

Service starts at $2 per square foot.

Pricing for this service varies to account for: site accessibility (i.e. stairs, retaining walls, vehicle access), amount of releveling (i.e. a poorly draining yard, adjusting the slope or filling in low spots), equipment required and disposal fees.

SOD INSTALLATION

Service starts at $2 per square foot.

Pricing varies to account for site accessibility and the amount of sod installed.

*If you elect to invest in both removal and installation, you can anticipate an average total project cost (inclusive of materials, equipment and disposal costs) of ~$6 per square foot.
